RuCoat® Equalizer Plus is a specially formulated product designed to reduce the time and effort it takes to accomplish a level 5 gypsum board finish. In accordance with the GA-214/ASTM C-840 level 5 gypsum board finish specifications, a skim coat of joint compound over the entire wallboard surface, followed by a primer coat of paint will give you the highest quality drywall finish. This two-step process is costly and labor intensive. It can be eliminated by applying RuCoat Equalizer Plus in an easy one-step spray application over a level 4 finish. Using RuCoat Equalizer Plus will help provide a superior surface for final decorations.

Limitations

• RuCoat Equalizer Plus ages naturally during storage, so failure to rotate stock may produce performance problems
• Not recommended over new plaster finishes
