Unfaced Insulation
Ideal for walls, ceilings, attics, and other interior environments where moisture control is not a priority or where a vapor barrier already exists. Unfaced insulation is also a reliable choice for soundproofing applications.
Kraft-Faced Insulation
Includes a paper vapor retarder to help prevent or mitigate mold and mildew. Kraft-faced insulation is highly effective and considerably less itchy from an installation perspective than traditional insulation products.
Foil/FSK Insulation
Foil scrim kraft faced (FSK) insulation is a three-layer laminate pairing lightweight aluminum foil with a fiberglass scrim and a kraft paper facing. With a flame retardant and a vapor barrier to control condensation, FSK offers multiple insulation advantages.
Specialty Insulation
Made from cellulose, fiberglass, or mineral wool. Loose-fill insulation is most useful for hard-to-reach places, enclosed existing walls, open wall cavities, and unfinished attic floors.
